Prizes¶

The HECKTOR 2026 Challenge will recognize the top 3 teams task, recognizing outstanding performance and awarding a total of 3 prizes across the following categories:

- 🥇 1st Place: $1,000 
- 🥈 2nd Place: $500 
- 🥉 3rd Place: $300

Eligibility Requirements¶

• All awards are conditioned on submitting a paper describing the detailed methodology.
• Members of the organizers' institutes may participate but are not eligible for awards.
• Teams using additional data beyond the provided HECKTOR 2026 dataset will not be eligible for prizes.

Award Distribution¶

In the event that teams achieve identical metric scores or statistical analysis reveals no significant performance differences between top-ranking teams, awards will be equitably divided among those teams.

All winners will be announced during the MICCAI 2026 conference and the top-performing methods will be highlighted in the challenge overview paper.
